Upgrade to fibre made no difference

My upgrade to fibre was due to happen yesterday (19th Nov). My new router arrived as expected (Thanks) & i connected it as instructed. It worked on first attempt but speed is still the same if not slower - about 8.75 download, .85 upload. 

Has the upgrade actually taken place & am i being charged the new price? I can accept that sometimes things don’t happen exactly on time but an email or text to let me know about the delay would be appreciated.

Any explanation?

Upgrade now complete! I lost internet connection about 10am this morning (Sat). It came back on after about 10 mins & now getting 34mbps download / 8.75mbps upload.

I have generally been very impressed by Plusnets service - an email saying that the upgrade was delayed by 2 days would have been reassuring but possibly it was an openreach issue, rather than Plusnet.

Anyway - all good now.
