Upgrade to Unlimited Fibre Extra time frame ?

Can someone give me a clue as to how long it takes to complete the upgrade from normal Fibre to Extra?
I requested the upgrade online a week ago today and have received a " Your broadband product change is now complete " email on the 9th.
I'm guessing an Openreach engineer has to do something at my local exchange?

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

I got a confusing response on Live chat, asking me to wait a further 48 hours for an engineer to work his magic.
In the meantime, my vanilla fibre connection is worse than ever. Ho hum.
