Transfer date from EE different to transfer date to Plusnet?

Plusnet has advised that our transfer date will be 23 April but we've now received a letter from EE (our current provider) saying that a transfer request has been received and that we will be disconnected on 15 April which is 8 days before Plusnet take over. Whose responsibility is it to ensure that the 2 transfer dates are the same?

Hi @PjayP, the 15th will be the date that we requested to take over the services when we placed the order, the 23rd will the soonest date that our suppliers can provide the service.

I've had a check on our DSL checker which shows that orders are due complete on the 23rd, but I'd advise contacting EE just to check with them that they have the updated date.
