Switching from BT

I’m switching phone and broadband from BT to Plusnet. The phone was switched 7 days ago and the BT broadband was switched off at the same time, however the new broadband has not been switched on by Plusnet. If I ring customer service an automated message tells me my broadband is not ready yet then tells me that there is a wait time of 35 minutes to talk to someone, and online there are no advisors available. I was not told that there would be any delay to switch broadband and I am running out of data to use on my mobile. Can anyone advise me how long this should take?

@Ukleeza Welcome to the forum.
If you don't get a reply from a Plusnet staffer then put your phone number in here. https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ Look through it and you should see a reference to an open order with a completion date. That is the current planned date.
If you have a BT Smarthub then keep it. It's a better router than Plusnet's offering. Setting instructions are here. https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Using-the-BT-Smarthub-6-on-a-Plusnet-Account/m-p/1587673#M85...

Thanks for the link, it says that FTTC and FTTP services are available and I can’t see any open orders or completion dates listed.
