I am in the process of joining Plusnet from BT, having signed up last Thursday.
(Due to an admin error my first signing was cancelled and a new contract agreed the next day.)
It was agreed that I wanted to retain my telephone number, yet I got an email to say that my "my new Home Phone service should be available on 5/10/2018 and the telephone number will be ***********." (different number.)
Furthermore, I got a voicemail from BT the next day to say that "somebody is trying to take over my number"
I cannot get through to your online chat line and the helpline queue is too long.
Can you please ensure that I do NOT have to change my existing telephone number?
