Pre-sales broadband speed query

Hi, my father-in-law is looking to switch his broadband service to PlusNet on my recommendation. He is currently with Virgin Media on their cable service. We are aware that he would need the BT line activated but your estimated broadband speed for him would be 4mb-8mb. Could you confirm this please as we were hoping for closer to 17mb. The details for his property are listed on the ticket/question number posted above.

I've checked the property and unfortunately if you were to take the standard ADSL broadband service the estimated speeds are between 6 and 8mbps.

However Fibre is also available with a higher estimated speed of between 40 and 55mbps.
