Pre-order enquiry

Hi,

i am looking to take the current PlusNet unlimited fibre offer but wanted to check about the protocol first.

I understand that any switchover is now provider led but in my scenario, the phone line is currently in my name with BT, and the broadband is standard ADSL broadband with Sky in my son's name.

I wish to move both the phone line and broadband to PlusNet and be in my name.  So in this case will the switchover still be provider led, would my son need to cancel his Sky contract (before, after the switch or at all), and will this present any problems.

As far as I'm aware it'll still be provider led.

Your son would receive a letter/e-mail stating the broadband is being swapped and you'd receive one for the phone.
