Possible to move from BT Fibre Essential to PN Fibre?

My contract with BT is due for renewal shortly and I was looking at moving to Plusnet.  However when I check the broadband availability only Unlimited Broadband (est. 1Mb speed) is available and no fibre.  Is fibre to my property only available from BT?

@g7 Welcome to the forums. If you post a screenshot of BT Broadband - ensuring your phone number isn't visible, we should be able to advise better.

@g7 I don't know where you live, but it appears wherever it is, is in an area where Fibre To The Cabinet is unavailable as it has been converted to Fibre To The Premises only.

Unfortunately, Plusnet do not currently offer an FTTP product, so to switch to fibre, you will have to find another provider - I'm guessing here, but I suspect there may be one or more of the altnet providers available to you.

When using the Availability Checker, are you entering your telephone number or address? It's far more accurate when using your landline number in my experience.
