Existing user upgrading to fibre from broadband. Don't have the old router anymore it died, can I at least use the new one for the bb? What is happening with the fibre?

it will tell you if there is still an open order and a date when Openreach will do the work required, be aware due to lockdown Openreach isn't working to full capacity so things can be delayed which may be the case for you.
