Order Confirmation and Username issues

So i signed up yesterday online to Fibre Unlimited Extra. I can see on the bank that the payment is pending.

However i did not receive any order confirmations emails. When i tried to login with the details at the confirmation of order stage, i get invalid username or password.

I spoke to live chat who quickly within seconds said if that happens your order did not go through and would need to do it again.

Having looked at various other threads on this subject could it be down to the fact that the username i choose at registration has been used previously even if it is showing as avaliable.

This oddly happened when trying to register on this forum also. If i registered using the Username i put in during the order thread, as well as registering with a username i normally use elsewhere, the registration goes through okay, but i cannot post because no forum email is sent so i cannot activate the forum account. 

However when i selected this random username the email came through in seconds hence im typing this.

Basically i just wanted secondary confirmation that there is no order showing (theringuk was the username) and that the pending charge will drop off.

Thanks for getting in touch and apologies for the issues you had.

 

I'd suggest contacting our Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 to confirm if any order has come through, between the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 20:00
Saturday: 09:00 - 19:00
Sunday: 09:00 - 18:00

 

They'll be able to cross-reference the username and full address to make sure there is nothing. I can't check in full via social media for security reasons.
