I joined plus net on 13th November 2018 for phone and fibre. I paid for line rental saver plus one month fibre. Next day had a message we cant transfer your number but will continue with your order. Since then i had no news or update. Plusnet taken over £200 but are providing no updates. Previously I had plusnet broad and line rental without any problems. Why can't they provide anu details.
Can anyone help

1 if my line is being transferred on 13th December
2 Will engineer be visiting or all will be done without visit for fibre
3 since plusnet couldn't take my number across will my other account will automatically cease with talktalk

Yep, the transfer should complete at any point up to midnight on the day.
2 Will engineer be visiting or all will be done without visit for fibre
All the work should be able to be done externally without the engineer visiting you.
3 since plusnet couldn't take my number across will my other account will automatically cease with talktalk
Yeah it should as we're taking over their line, so it should still trigger a notification their side.
Regarding importing your number from what I can see the number you've advised us you'd want to keep is on the BT network, which is odd because TalkTalk use their own network.
Could you confirm the telephone number via PM and if you want I'd be happy to try to renumber your line to the number once the order completes?

Thank you for a quick reply. That is a relief, talktalk were trying to confuse me today.
As for retaining my number, either way its not a problem if i keep my number or plusnet issue a new number.

Switched because adsl to fibre.. So hopefully tomorrow everything will be working fine.
