No activation date given?

Moved into a new build last week, engineer came today and said after setting up the line it was ready to go. Phone line was activated it seems but broadband hasn't and we've been given no date? This either is a mess up or we've not had this explained to us correctly? I was told it would be working today!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
