No DSL signal being received

My account has gone live today. Got a email at 0430 to say accoumt is ready, red light on old router. Plug in PN router and light stays red, doesn't even sync. Tried several times and then tried my old router which is reporting no signal. Can't ring supoort as it doesn't open until 0730. Was hoping to have rhis running for the household bedore going to work. Will leave PN router plugged in, if someone can look into it asap please? I have home phone dialling tone, I suspect it is now PN but have no idea.
Thanks
Mark

Re: No DSL signal being received

So my sync is the highest it has been for a while, 55meg and throughput has increased during the day, at about 2pm it was only 20meg.

My Broadband Speed Test

I have managed to set up my Thinkbroadband BQM by putting my webcam into the DMZ. Looks like everything is quite saturated around here.

I seem to recall in the past having to pipe hop. How would you do it on the current PN router?

Re: No DSL signal being received

Still busy connection wise, even after a disconnection and new gateway. Can't believe the packet loss and latency. When using these graphs before, it is unusual to see any yellow except 1/2 hourly spikes when runniung Testmynet auto tests. Even 4k streaming never showed this up. I can't believe putting a webcam in the DMZ has caused this.

Re: No DSL signal being received

Seems the webcam was causing the busy issues. I have put a NowTV box in the DMZ now which has brought the graph back to a more manageable range and something I can monitor a bit easier. Shame I can't just set the router to accept ping, but this will do for the time being.
