Newbie waiting for line activation

Hi, my talk talk broadband has ended today and my plusnet account was suited to transfer over today but hasn't! Can anyone tell me when my account will be activated...we need the Internet.

Thank you

Re: Newbie waiting for line activation

I can see that the orders have completed, however your router isn't connecting correctly. Can you try a factory reset of the router please, there's a small pinhole on the back that you need to hold something in until the lights go out.

Re: Newbie waiting for line activation

Thanks Chris, we have Internet now, I have reset the router. The spore doesn't seem as good as previous supplier - is there anything else I can do/check? All lights are green. Thank you

Re: Newbie waiting for line activation

What kind of speeds are you seeing?

Based on the stats I'd expected 5-6Mb/s on speedtest, maybe a little more.

Upstream DSL Link Information Downstream DSL Link Information
Loop Loss: 24.6 42.0
SNR Margin: 5.7 6.8
Errored Seconds: 0 2
HEC Errors: 0
Cell Count: 67 106
Speed: 1091 7835

Maximum Stable Rate (KBPS): 2272 Fault Threshold Rate (KBPS): 2272
Mean Time Between Retrains (Seconds): 2301 Mean Time Between Errors Upstream (Seconds): 900
Indicative Line Quality: R Mean Time Between Errors Downstream (Seconds): 203
