New user - order status

Hello,

 

I recently signed up as a new user, i moved house and took over the existing line. I have been assigned a telephone number and that completed, however i cant find any details about the fibre broadband order anywhere, so i dont know when this is live? i was told it could be same day but i can't find anything on the portal and neither has a router arrived at my house yet.

 

Could someone help? My username is chriscooney.

Hi Chris,

 

We've been waiting for an order for the line to be restarted to complete before fibre can be ordered. I can see that's now taken place so I've ordered the fibre service for you so we should be able to confirm a due date for the fibre service within the next 24 hours.

The orders have been successfully placed but we are still waiting for a committed date to come through. As soon as it does we will confirm this for you.

Hello again, router has been received, thanks. At what point now will my connection be activated? Its been a long 3 weeks without any form of broadband!

The fibre order is committed and in progress for the 2nd December. It can take any time up to midnight on the day for the service to go live.

Thanks Basil. Looks as though my partner wired it up whilst at work as we have a 'you are now connected' message, I think it just needs the activation!
