New router arrival date?

I signed up for fibre in Monday and I'm wondering when the new router will arrive. I haven't received any emails and I ask because I have a very small letter box, doubt it will fit and I don't want to miss the post.

The router is sent on a 'just-in-time' schedule, but there is no tracking.

The box measures 425mm ×190mm × 40mm.

Hello @Lel1 - thanks for getting in touch.

Our automated system usually orders and sends out routers to arrive just before your activation date (07/03/2022), so it hadn't kicked in yet. I've just given it a nudge on my end though, so your router will now be arriving within the next 3-5 working days. My Hub Two fit through my standard size letterbox so hopefully you'll be fine. Smiley

Aww hi, appreciate that. My activation date should be 28th Feb. There are always issues when I start a new contract so bracing myself 😂 appreciate you sorting the router, I just got the email 👍🏻👍🏻

No problem at all @Lel1

While we did request an activation date of the 28th, Openreach have had to push this back due to engineer availability, as physical work is required at the cabinet to complete the upgrade. You won't be charged for Fibre from the 28th though, the account change will complete when the order is on the 7th March. Smiley
