New Plusnet order cancelled

I moved into a new property on 23 July. The same day I placed an order with Plusnet for unlimited fibre broadband. Today, I’ve been notified that my order was cancelled because the existing provider has stated “you are not leaving them”. I understand that the previous occupier was with TalkTalk, so I called them but they wouldn’t speak to me as I’m not their account holder. What can I do to resolve this situation?
