Just ordered Fibre and Phone

Hi

 

Placed an order yesterday for the 38/2 fibre and home phone.

I want to keep my phone number (currently supplied by BT/SSE and not virgin fyi) - will this be moved over?

As I am coming from Virgin Media, I have no connection active on this line. How long will it take to get fibre up and running?

So far there are no updates on the order.

It looks like we sent you an email this morning with the status of the order? You can view the service notice here. The transfer should complete on the 12th July.

sorry , I read the email, it says I can keep my number.

last question. email just mentions phone. Does it mean the fibre will go live on the 12th as well?

If you're referring to the number ending in 035, the email confirms that yep.

Thanks - is the fibre go live on the same date? as the mail just mentions home phone. thanks

Yep, that's right. Apologies for the lack of communication surrounding the fibre order.

It should go live at any point up to midnight on the day.

Activation is in a weeks time, I just want to check and make sure that the router will be dispatched before then.

Indeed!

 

One weird thing is that the Account Summary section says the order is 'complete' but the order tracking section says the fibre won't go live until the '13/07/2017'...
