Installer no show.

So my full fibre install was booked for this afternoon, so took the afternoon off work.

It's now 17:15. Technically they could turn up in the next 45 minutes (on a Friday afternoon), however I somehow doubt it. So..

1/ Do I get also £65 for a now show, like I get charged if they come to me and I'm not home?

2/ Do openreach own coats? Or are fibre installs only done on nice sunny days?

3/ What happens now? Do in I need to book another day off work? Do in I need to consult a long range weather forecast before doing so?

@Mark_g1  I know this a bit cruel but Friday afternoon appointments, no chance,😁 they're all in the pub.

So true, sadly, it was the only afternoon I could get off.

Openretch (not a misspelling) really are a shower of [-Censored-]e, this is off the back of a 4 month database error farce.

So nobody has contacted me from either Plusnet or Openretch is pretty disappointing.

No idea what the happens now.

Another visit booked for Thursday. Weather looks dry, so fingers crossed they might turn up.

No answers on why there is a £65 no-answer charge applied to customers, but nothing for the customer if BT don't show up. Surely the same should apply, a £65 account credit.

If anything, taking the day off work and nobody turning up is more expensive and disruptive to an individual than BT OpenRetch having to move onto the next job on the list.
