Installation delay - do I have to pay for a service I won't have for at least 2 months?

I signed up with Plusnet 12 days ago for new Broadband (a completely new experience for me). Installation was scheduled for a week later but that date was cancelled by Plusnet and I now have a provisional installation date of mid-June. All this delay isn't ideal but it is understandable at the moment. I paid for most of the 18 month contract up front. Question I have is whether I am going to be paying for a service I don't have for at least 2 months or will my 18 month period run from the installation date? Any ideas welcome - like many I cannot get to speak to anyone at Plusnet, despite many attempts.

@SarahMichelle

Welcome to the forum.

Plusnet do not start charging until your service becomes live.
