We have been with Plusnet for many years with a short break at BT. We have never had issues with installation etc. Naturally when our daughter arrived from South Africa where services are almost non existent, she expected better from a British organisation like Plusnet.
She booked an appointment and installation for phone line and BB was arranged for today. She heard nothing further and still has not received the router. i thought the router was delivered prior to installation of line etc? Earlier today she spent 37 minutes before the phone was answered and was then told that there was some sort of delay and it would be escalated.
Considering it was ourselves who recommended Plusnet it has placed us in an embarrassing situation. She really needs the Internet to communicate with the rest of the family in South Africa. The connection is a place near WR6 6Q* which should be easy enough to check or I can give further details of location by PM
I appreciate that the mods etc cannot give me any information, but how about contacting the daughter and updating her on what is happening instead of her being left in limbo. Thanks.

Oops I did mean a staffer instead of moderator. Apologies. Not sure where things went wrong with the supply of the router and the installation and why the delay. At least it makes her feel as if she was back in SA! LOL!

I'm sorry to see your daughter's order is delayed and for the difficulties she'd had getting an update.
