How long till router arrives?

I was out of contract and decided to sign up for another contract. Deal was agreed via online chat on the 17th.
To cut a long story short, the new contract offers everything I have now including unlimited super fast broadband for a few pounds less than we're currently paying, plus we'd receive the latest router.
My question is how long should I wait for the router? I haven't heard anything.

Hi Andy,
We encountered some problems with a batch or hardware orders from around the time you re-contracted. I suspect it's related. If you don't receive the router on Monday then give me a nudge and I'll look into it.

I was just concerned that I might be waiting for something that hasnt been ordered for some reason.
I'll wait until Monday. Fingers crossed.

Hi Andy.
Whilst what Bob said is correct, I'm not certain it applies to you as it looks like the sales adviser didn't order a new router for you in the first instance. I've just placed the order now so you should receive it next week.

Thanks Gandalf. Sometimes a wizard is required.
That explains why we received an email on Sunday informing us that a router has been despatched. We since received a further stating it should be with us within days so hopefully we'll have it by the end of the week.
