How long does “checking your line” usually last?

As the title says, been sitting on “checking your line” since I placed my order over a week ago. Any idea how long this usually lasts? Just moved into a property that has been empty for a month or so, but I believe has had BT fibre broadband before that.

I know the whole thing usually takes around 14 days, just not sure if it is supposed to be stuck at this stages
