How long between old service stopping and plusnet starting?

I migrated from BT line rental and Sky BB to plusnet fibre. The phoneline has been migrated, and it looks like my BB stopped working late last night. But Ive had no notification from Plusnet that the new service has been activated. My impression was that it would be a brief outage...
