How do I upgrade to Fibre?

I have contacted Plusnet (45 minute wait and chat not online). All I want to do is to upgrade to Fibre online, but when I go to change products, I only have the option to 'Keep Product'. Have checked that fibre is available in my area/postcode. Help!

Re: How do I upgrade to Fibre?

@RAGARUG

You really need to check by using your phone number at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome?

Using the postcode is not going to show what is available to your property, it is a general lookup for the whole of the postcode and something on there does not necessarily mean that you can get it. Also your phone line may not be connect to a cabinet that is in your postcode or the postcode may have multiple cabinets so the first cabinet is shown which might not be yours!

You can use the address lookup at the dslchecker but again you must enter your full address (house number and postcode or more details will be needed if you are in a flat or the house has a name)

Re: How do I upgrade to Fibre?

Hi there

I've looked into your account @RAGARUG and I can see whilst the usual fibre service is not currently available to order, an FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) is available.

More information can be found at http://trials.plus.net where you can also apply for it there too if you're interested.
