How can I contact PlusNet when there is no chat service and phone queue is 40min+

I want to follow up on my upgrade to VDSL.
It was promised yesterday - but they have not provided it.
I can't even find out if they have just slipped the date or what. All they have to do is flip a switch at their end.

I want to know when they now propose to do this
And also will I suddenly lose my internet connection when the switch is made - until I configure the new setup (I am home working). Or how else will I be informed.
How can I ask PlusNet this simple question

OK - the problem solved itself when a BT engineer (whom I was not expecting !) turned up on my doorstep.
Fortunately everything he needed to do was outside the home.
This was when I understood that my internet connection had suddenly dropped - the BT chap had been changing the wiring at a nearby junction box to switch me from ADSL to VDSL.
