Re: Full fibre installed 2 weeks ago, still no internet

Fingers are crossed for you - I hope I am still not waiting for my internet to be connected in two weeks time.

Re: Full fibre installed 2 weeks ago, still no internet

Well i had an email from plusnet saying my open question has been updated, when i clicked to check it now says an engineer is coming today(02/12) between 1 and 6. On the phone and on the open question it was 09/12.
I have had no text from openreach like i usually do asking to confirm so am hoping they turn up as i have had to ask my mum to come round for 2 hours while im at work!
Will update later today!

Re: Full fibre installed 2 weeks ago, still no internet

Well unless an engineer turns up in the next 10 mins then it's another no show 😡 already have 1 no show in the past 5 weeks of no internet! So this is another. And i bet the next available appointment is ages away too. That should be a 2nd credit of £34 odd now.

At this rate if they ever do actually get me up and running i wont have to pay for my internet for a long time! With all the compensation owed and missed appointments.

This is getting beyond a joke now i am so fed up with it all 😭😭

Re: Full fibre installed 2 weeks ago, still no internet

I hope I'm wrongly assuming it was another no show ?

If so something I found helpful over the weekend was getting hold of a 5g mobile router, I got it with a contract that has a cooling off period so its likely to go back. Although it was too late to support 4 lost days of not being able to work from home - it did provide good speed and some normality. The irony thought is 1 hour after setting this up on Saturday Open Reach turned up and finished my install (without notice) - I had assumed my lack of connection would drag on. I am evening thinking of buying a back up 5g router (when this one probably goes back) 'just in case'.

Good luck.

What has happened: FTTP Oxygen Holding Queue

What I have done:As i see there is an open exception on order FTTP Oxygen Holding Queue so to solve this issue i will raise the ticket to solve this issue , it will take 2 working days, so review back on 6/12/24 Oops! is registered with ID REQ00278580

Load of waffle, into my 5th week now of no internet and this is the reason i get for no engineer coming yesterday?

Where do i stand with all this?
Inconstantly keep getting put off for 24 to 48 hours every time! So frustrating.

If now asked to cancel the whole bloody thing and go back to copper broadband what would that entail? Because all the box etc is installed for full fibre but plusnet/openreach seem unable to provide me with my service!

"FTTP Oxygen Holding Queue"

I wonder what skunk works that means?

There is a common belief that Complex L2C means "leads to cash".

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I understood it as "lead to cash" - i.e. the process of getting from a "sales lead" to providing a chargeable service, rather than the more cynical "we're going to charge loads for this" interpretation.
