Finally got a line put in but no router and a different phone number

After waiting three weeks, finally got a new line installed today but the number we've been given by the engineer is not my original number that I assumed would be ported over and therefore not the phone number on my broadband order.

 

Will the transfer to my original number happen automatically and how long does it take until I receive the router?

Thanks for the help. I've received the router but it's now been a week that the new landline has been active and the old number hasn't been ported yet, so not much closer to having broadband. Is it possible to get another update on the order?

Hi, now that I have the router and the number port is complete, is it possible to get an ETA on when broadband will be activated? It's been two months since initially ordering it.
