Fibre contract start/go live date discrepancy

I was wondering why is it that in my account it says my contract started 11th Oct but fibre go live date was 15th Oct?

 

By the way, I never received any notification that switch from adsl to fibre was complete. I waited till next day (today), but adsl went down yesterday afternoon, I suspect the service was probably already switched over to fibre by the evening. Only received a (not very reassuring) email saying Plusnet Protect service was stopped. I wish the communication from Plusnet was a little bit better.

Hi @pkw I'm sorry for the confusion and lack of communication surrounding your fibre order. Sad Contracts should always and normally do begin on a bill date, but your fibre go live date was specifically chosen by our suppliers due to engineer availability. I'd expect your next bill to account for this with any pro-rata adjustments. I hope this helps.
