Fibre broadband

Hi all


We are meant to be starting with Fibre broadband tomorrow and then Plus net TV. Will it automatically change over or will I need a new router. They haven't sent me nothing but the lady on the phone said the router that I have is not powerful enough. Been trying to get in touch with them but to no avail.
