Fibre broadband is due to activate today....or tomorrow?

Based on an email and a text I received a few weeks ago, my broadband is due to activate today between 8am and 1pm. Should I wait for a confirmation email before switching on my router or should I just switch it on soon after 1pm? Also however, on the 'connection settings' tab of my account it says it's due to activate on the 14th after 12pm. Which should I beleive?

Hi @Gwelchy unfortunately it looks like we received a delay notification on the phone order, from our suppliers earlier today which will unfortunately delay the broadband activation.

 

I understand this has been escalated with our provisioning team and they should be able to provide you with further updates within the next 24 hours.
