Fibre boradband - move from BT.... GOOD news for a change

So, last week, my brother moved his phone / broadband (and now his TV) from BT to PlusNet.

He was told when it would happen, and on the day, was woken by a text to say his broadband was already changed. He unplugged the BT router, plugged in the PlusNet one..... and everything just burst into life!

So, yes, sometimes thing DO just work the way they should - Well done PlusNet!

Moving from BT to Plusnet is just a software update. as plusnet use's the BT network.

It is not "just a software update" it is a migration between different service providers that happen to be different BT owned companies in this case. The same process has to happen for any migration, all suppliers have to treated equally.

Anyway it seems to have worked well.
