Thanks Rach, but it's now effectively sorted (see posts above). Just need the PN bill sorting out... 🙂

A little bit more 'education' required?

Re: Fibre Woes

Apologies @pvmb, still learning who is who 🙂

I must've mis-read your post, as I had thought the problems had recurred after the visit. If everything is now back on track then I can still get the team to reach out about the bill, if you'd like.

Re: Fibre Woes

...Thanks

My bill ought to automatically correct now that physical reality has caught up with my PN contract. However I have ended up paying two 'out of contract' bills rather than the originally expected one month 'out of contract'.

I re-contracted before my old FTTC contract had ended and the new fibre connection was originally scheduled for 1st October - with PN adjusting my bill retrospectively as "the delay is not your fault". In the event the new fibre terminal was not activated until 27th October, due to delays caused by Openreach not me. Hence I now have two 'out of contract' payments needing correction.

For now I will wait and see what happens with the next PN bill.

@pvmb

Assuming you can wait until another billing cycle completes for a refund, I would suggest seeing what the next bill says.

If you don't see a refund for the out of contract period then I would suggest phoning up.

Plusnet's billing can go awry but there is no intention to ovecharge.

Given the various Openreach messing about, if you phone up I would suggest that they backdate your new monthly price to when the old contract ran out (or at least when you phoned up).

I am the satisfied customer....
