Fibre Speed after upgrade from adsl today

Hi

Getting 21MB download & 6MB upload.

Should it improve or is it all I can get

What speeds are you expecting? What does the DSL Checker say you should bet getting?

dsl says impacted 35mb down   8.5mb up, 

I was hoping for about  30mb down and 8mb up

I am about 300 yds from the cabinet if that helps

Hi Roger and I'm sorry for the poor start to your fibre upgrade!

Diagnostics are confirming a fault, we've got that reported to our suppliers and we should be able to update you further about that over the next few days.

Thank you for picking up the issue from my speedtest,

I thought I might have to raise a fault myself.

Hope BT sorts it out quickly.

I've just checked on your fault report Roger and I can see we've got an engineer appointment booked in.
Can you let us know how the visit goes?

Unfortuately they did not make today, openreach have rebooked for thursday am will give you an update after that.

Hi Gandalf

BT engineer arrived changed me to copper back to cabinet, his test showed 

40Mb down 10Mb up.  DSL on router shows the same.

Speedtest shows  37.55 down & 9.36 up over ethernet poweradaptors.

If it manages to stay close to this I will be a very happy customer.

Thank you for showing an interest in my problem its why I stay with plusnet.
