If you are thinking of ordering fibre broadband from Plusnet beware! After 42 days since I placed my order and numerous efforts to resolve with Plusnet I still have no broadband service.
The problems seem to have been caused by several errors at Plusnet. Firstly, they tell me my order was put onto the wrong/an old database (so much for data protection). Secondly, they then ordered the phone line change but not the broadband fibre upgrade. Due to this mistake I’m now a priority but still waiting! I did then receive a router promptly and a Plusnet phone line was finally activated after a month! However, Plusnet’s current estimate for activation of fibre broadband is 53 days since I placed the order!
I think Plusnet ought to compensate me for this tardy service as I've spend lots on temporary internet access while waiting. However, I can't find any information on seeking compensation. Any advice?
