My engineer was due to come between 1 and 6 yesterday to activate my phone so my service could go live today. Around half 2 I received a message saying the job was being allocated to an engineer and I'll be updated in due course. I heard nothing at all. I understand that the engineer may have been able to do the job without entering my property but I need to know it's been done so my service can go live today as it is meant to. Can anyone help me with this?

Update: my service did not go live as promised. I have tried and failed repeatedly to call plusnet. Someone please help?
