Engineer found a fault when installing, no update and no broadband.

An engineer came out on Friday 24th July as planned but said there was a "Battery Contact Fault" on the line so my broadband could not be activated. He said another engineer would be out "soon" to resolve this fault.

I have had no update since then and am unable to contact anyone at Plusnet, this is not a good start!

Can someone please tell me when I can expect my service to be activated?

Still no broadband, no engineer despite assurances they would be out on two different dates now.
