Engineer failed to show and no contact within 48hr.

After waiting 3/4 weeks for wifi to be installed on the 23rd, the engineer failed to turn up. After a phone call to plusnet I was told it had been escalated to a different team and I would get a call back within 48hrs which hasn’t happened. I’m loosing hope guys! I’ve tried ringing but difficult whilst at work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums. You'll find your complaint is all too common and affects most ISPs. The engineers are employed by Openreach who suit themselves, all Plusnet can do is request a visit or a repeat visit after the first one fails. As PN said they would call you back they have likely made this second request and are waiting for Openreach to come back with a new appointment for you.

The PN team watches this forum when they can but it may not be picked up for a few days, so I suggest that you give them a ring, awkward though this may be for you. All the best!

Doesn’t look like James has been online since Tuesday as no reply to my pm🤷 And still no call. I appreciate its not a plusnet problem as such but not no contact is frustrating!

If staff are offline PMs should come through for the rest of us to pick up and respond to but nothing has come through.
