Hi, I have an engineer appointment booked to activate a new line for moving my fibre service from my previous address. There are already BT Openreach sockets in the property - will the engineer need to enter the property and/or need to make any physical additions inside the property? If so, I will need to let my landlord know.
Thanks

If your master phone socket (NTE) has dialling tone, that means there is an active line and no internal work should be required (but the engineer might want to test from your phone socket anyway)
If there's no dialling tone the engineer may need to trace the line back and connect it up.

Thanks for getting in touch @holly141 I've checked your house move order and the engineer appointment's booked as an installation so they'll likely require access to your property. We've added more detail onto your support ticket here: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=201285806 sending emails and texts out.
