I am getting my phone line activated in preparation of getting broadband but there is already phone sockets in the house so I’m not sure if the engineer will need to come in.
If the engineer does have to enter the premises will they let me know closer to the time when they will arrive for the appointment? I work 10 minutes away from my house so would prefer getting a text or call that they’d be arriving soon so I could just walk around instead of taking a half day off from work.
Fixed! Go to the fix.
Welcome to the forums.
I've just had a look at the order for you and can confirm that no access will be required for tomorrows installation as they have confirmed they are able to remotely activate one of those sockets you have mentioned. If the engineer needs to get in touch with you for whatever reason the mobile details you originally provided to us have been placed on the job.
