Engineer Appointment For the 16th

Helloing just took out Internet with you and an appointment with an engineer has been booked for the 16 April. So what happens if openreach can't make the appointment?
Will I be left with no service as I'm leaving a different company

I have this tweet from my current ISP; not PN.

"Due to changes announced by Openreach today, certain engineer installations may not be possible until 1st June. If you have an appointed engineer visit booked with us from 25th onwards, we will be in touch directly to discuss further with you. Please watch out for this email."

If it's a self install you could be ok.
