I'm due to be activated on Friday but everything else has already happened very quickly (phone line was activated the next day, router arrived yesterday, etc). I know that the instructions say not to setup the router which I guess is to do with automatic setup of things on the line, but I've seen some people suggest that if PlusNet see successful activity to the router then it may trigger activation?
Basically my question is, is there any benefit/reason to setup my router now or should I just be a good rule abiding customer and wait til I get a text/email with the go ahead?

Re: Early activation/when to setup router
Thats fair enough! Was just a bit of a cheeky question as I'm currently working via a 4g router on about 2mbps down which isn't very fun 🤣
Thank you very much for your reply.
