Direct debit still not functional

I joined Plusnet a couple of months ago and set up carefully checked direct direct details. I note from other posts that the problem I’m experiencing is not unique. I cannot pay by direct debit as it is incorrectly set up and greyed out in my account section. It will not allow me to correct it myself. I have phoned several times about this and am consistently fobbed off. I’m instead required to phone in monthly and pay by credit card.

The chatline and phone lines are not functioning today (25.3.20). In desperation, as I’m a NHS worker who really needs to be able to work 24/7 from home right now, this is unacceptable. I have added £80 phone credit by credit card to stave off any credit control issues (as after all, I’m TRYING TO PAY!) and in the hope I won’t lose my internet access. 

Plusnet, please sort this out. I’ve raised it several times. I feel an official complaint coming on and Martin Lewis on speed dial...
