Deliver router to alternate address

I know this has been asked before but there doesn't seem to be a proper answer to the question.

Having just signed up for full fibre, how do I get the router sent to a different address?

The new account is for a new build house which is currently empty and with no house number attached so I would like it to be sent to my current address. Looks like this is a common issue so surprised there is no option for it in the sign up process.
