Contract start date issue

Sorry for the cross-post, but I tried asking this in the My Account area and have had no response, so maybe this is a better forum.  See https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Account-Billing/Contract-start-date/td-p/1729159

To repeat the issue, I've signed up on Wednesday to move from BT and I was expecting to get asked about start date at some point during the sign-up. I'm still under contract with BT and need to make sure that my new acccount doesn't start until 8th May. I've subsequently been informed that the account will go live on the 6th.  Could you please ensure that this service does not start until the 8th.  This is for account turnma2.  Thanks.
