Confused over start date...

I upgraded to fibre optic a little while ago and was told my upgrade date was around 8th September.

I paid for the router (which still hasn't arrived) and have had no further communication.

My current broadband is terrible - can't stream now TV, can't download games, can't play PS4 without 'lag'...really desperate for this upgrade!

Is this normal for Plusnet to give a date and then communicate delays?!

Sorry about the lack of communication.

Your fibre order has been delayed due to engineer availability I'm afraid. It's set to go live on the 26th. You'll receive an email in the early hours of the morning, advising the product change is complete. By the evening you should see improved speeds.
