'Checking your line' issue

Hi,

 

My broadband was supposed to be activated on 04/12/18 so I've just logged into my account to check my order where it tells me there's an issue with telephone line but that it is being looked into and I will be contacted.  Well I haven't been contacted and I placed my order around 3 weeks ago.  So far I've spent £70 on mobile broadband devices to cover the long period of time waiting for Plusnet and I don't want to have to spend any more.  Please can someone have a look into this for me?
