Charged twice

I tried to sign up to Plusnet fibre broadband on the evening of Monday (6th). I put all my details in and at the very last stage received an error message telling me to contact customer support. The £33.99 first month payment has now been taken out of my bank account.

On the morning of Tuesday (7th) I rang customer support and was told my order had not gone through and I would have a refund "within a day" (which I knew to be highly unlikely). I signed up for the same package, which was processed successfully.

There is no sign of an upcoming refund into my bank account. When do Plusnet process refunds?
