Yesterday tried another install date which I made access for cable.
Engineer? Wanted to clip cable high up wall, I said take as other cable but wanted high, so agree 8ft high.
My car was on end wall, when he got to that part he said can I move to give access, I started to move car and he moved in with small metal steps!! So I could not reverse back so left car there as he had lots of space. But when I just got around car he fall off the steps!! He had hammer in his hand and tried to protect his self but steps hit front door and he fall on rear door!! So looks like new door needed and dent in rear door sorted. I called Plusnet to complain, engineer said never damaged rear door only front? But I had full cctv, so Plusnet said get proof, I told engineer I now have it on. Video on phone, he wanted to see, so show him, but not happy wants to see zoom view, he takes phone from me which I bought 3 days before. SAMSUN NEW FOLD7 512gb, which is £2200, and while looking at video he let phone drop away and smashed to drive!!
He ended up going and install aborted.
Went to Samsung instantly who want £667 to repair, and £75 for case,. And 3 weeks wait time.
Car repair another matter, so a simple installation now i have £1000s of damaged.
Engineer used incorrect ladders for job, stood on top of steps which is out of health and safety.

I am a gas electrical engineer but must use correct equipment when on site, and be carefull when using other person's equipment.
Lucky enough no one was injured.

Sounds like a comedy of errors, when I worked for them I had the ladder blown over in strong winds and a lad put a hammer through the top of a caravan when it came off a sash line when he was throwing it through a tree to get a dropwire installed, and another lad knocked some plant pots off a balcony with the top of his ladder, oh happy days, a bit curious has to why the first install was aborted because of the trunking issue was that installed by you to hide cables?

I said can leave cable on step cover it with mat and I can pull up slab and put under. He said 1 in bedroom or go around doo!!
So cancelled, I removed all slabs and fitted plastic pipe trucking for cable. Shame first one did not complete would have saved me time and money.
