Phone and broadband transfered from BT and should be active today.
received email and text saying phone transfer now complete.
Broadband deactivated from BT and received email from plusnet saying new broadband service now active and connect router.
Router still showing orange light so obviously not been activated.
Not a good start to our relationship
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Thanks for that, seems stupid to send and email telling me its activated and enjoy using when I cant for another 12n hours, I'm beginning to regret this switch

Welcome aboard, just to confirm it can take anytime up to midnight for the broadband order to complete in the supplier system triggering your account to activate and you to receive the email advising your broadband is ready to use, so if you've received that email then the order should already be completed and simply waiting longer likely isn't going to get you online I'm afraid.
I'm not in the office so I can't check your line but if you're still not up and running, is the orange light flashing or steady?
